Do they still do the "Midnight Movie" thing?
Some of the best times I had as a lad were when we would get a bit messed up and go to see the "Midnight Movie" that would be playing. That would be in the late 70's early to mid 80's.

Some that I remember seeing:
The Kids are Alright
Let it Be / Yellow Submarine
Rust Never Sleeps
Gimme' Shelter
Night of the Living Dead / The Hills have Eyes
Flesh Gordon

I never went to The Rocky Horror show.

So do they still do these? Anyone else here ever used to go?

1. A couple of local theatres in Minneapolis show midnight movies
The Riverview shows Napoleon Dynamite on Friday nights and the Uptown (I think) shows Rocky Horror on either Friday or Saturday night.

3. I guess it must be a regional thing
Or it could be that people weren't allowed out of the house past 11 at that age. Then again it could be that people are boycotting my threads. :)

4. We have them. One place does Rocky Horror every friday at midnight
(I think.) And another place has a "Friday Night Freak Show" and they show all kinds of stuff, though I wish they'd get a little weirder with it. They show things like Goonies and Pee Wee's Big Adventure, but I'd love to see more variety.
