1. I miss the old Widow Maker beer ads
(I think it was called Widow Maker) with the guys throwing up and stumbling all over.

They were on Comedy Channel when it first began.

2. I miss the old Miller Lite ads.
Especially when they'd all get together, like when they went bowling.

"This ball doesn't have holes!"
(Mean Joe Green) *CRUNCH* "It does now."

7. Frogs ribbetting
Rainier Beer, A motorcycle driving around a corner in the Mima Mounds with the gear shifting sounding like "Raaaaaaaaai-nieeeeer Beeeeeeeeeer,
a guy talking about stuff that makes a man and shouting "Hey Linda! grab me a beer! and a voice from the other room screaming "Get it yourself BOB!" and my personal favourite, a manly man in the kitchen, talking about how a man can work in the kitchen and be ultra masculine. He turns around, slams her arm through the fridge door, pulls it out and shows the product to the camera and declares "Rainier Ale. It goes BEYOND macho."
there were a few more, I can't rember them all-they had great billboards and print ads, IIRC.

Too bad the beer was such shite.

9. Hee hee!
Does sound like good ads.

I like these two I have for Foster's Australian beer, with this unbelievably sexy girl, one in a hot tub and one in a pool.

"What?"

5. My favorite was always the Hamm's bear.
I used to sing along with it as a child.

8. I loved those ads when I was little-do you think Hamm's was
marketing to kids with the cartoon bear? :P

11. I don't care.
I just loved the commercials.
Now that I think about it you might have a point. Whenever my parents had a party which half empty beer can did I sneak drinks from as a small child? The Hamms can, of course! Not Old Style, not Miller but Hamms!
That commercial, the Chicago Cubs commercial and a commercial for Jay's potato chips are the ones that stick out in my mind.

12. I was kidding
when I was little, Tv was still kinda new and cartoons were limited, so seeing a cartoon if for only a minute, it was thrilling. As for what i drank at mom's and dad's partys-it was pretty much anything I could get my hands on, as long as it was beer. my little brother liked abandoned martinis.

13. I know you were.
But then I thought about the first beer I'd make a beeline for and it really was Hamms. I preferred my uncles screwdrivers over anything else at their parties.
My cousin didn't care what it was. She'd drink anything-even if it had the cigarette butts floating around in it.

10. From the 80s- The groundskeeper at Coors... talking about the Artesians
'Some people don't believe in em, but I seen 'em. I like 'em. Like everything about 'em ::then sprinkler goes on and he gets soaked:: 'cept maybe their sense of humor...'

I even loved that one better than the Rainer Beer ones with the wild Rainer bottle guys acting like deer or the motor cycle going around a curve with the mountain in the background, bike going through the gears sounding like RAI-NER BEER...
