Fashion industry pet peeves

OK, folks, here is your chance to complain about the choices offered to you when you go shopping for clothes.

Here are mine:

1) Pants w/o pockets: even if it's a pouch sewn into the waist of the pants, EVERY pair of pants should have a pocket. (You think there are racks of pants w/o pockets in the men's department?)

2) Pointed toe shoes: first of all, my feet are not shaped like that. Second of all, there's this whole triangle of empty shoe at the top... makes me feel like Bozo the clown. I know I'm going to trip in these things.

3) Heels w/ the diameter of toothpicks. Seriously....

4) Pants that zip on the side (this is especially a problem for big women). I realize that they're supposed to make you look thin, but, I have to reach around the twin peaks to zip them up. (Once again, we don't see these pants in the men's department.)

5) Athletic wear -- if you expect large people to exercise, make exercise clothing that fits them. Oh yeah, big women need sports bras that actually support some breast weight.

6) Who the hell are you designing the clothes for anyway? The models on the runway are a size 0. How many size 0s do you sell every year?

7) Just because I'm carrying a few extra pounds, this does not mean that I am 8'7".

Anyone else want to chime in....?

wearing the pointed toe shoes, pants that zip on the side, and the thin heels. But I hate and I mean hate the fact that jeans are made for people who are 8'7" too!!! My jeans are always too long, but if I get the short length, they are waaaay too short. And I am not big, so I think that is a problem for all sizes unless you are of course 8'7"!

2. Their bathrooms don't have toilets in them
Boy would I hate to have to be the guy who cleans THAT up everynight.

3. Yes , all pants should have pockets
Also, I am into comfort more these days than style. So forget the pointy shoes or any dress shoes that have high, high heels. I basically have to hem all pants because of the length.

4. The junior/misses divide
I never know what section to shop in because the junior's clothes all look so teenagerish and provocative. The misses clothes look like they are for people over 50. Being in my late twenties, I am not sure what is best.
I have gotten rather thin recently and the junior's jeans would be a better fit but they are all ugly and beat up looking. Even when I was a teenager, I wouldn't have wanted to wear those.
