12. I had blond streaks added to my red hair a few years ago

And while I liked it then, the hairdresser had used too high a concentrate of the bleaching, and the blonde streaks ended up staying a lot longer than I wished as well as ending up breaking frequently making for shorter hair lengths for a couple of years. It took about three years before my hair started returning to something I considered normal and not a problem.

4. Actually, I was a platinum and just dyes it about two shades darker to get

highlights and I think they look great.

I like the look, personally. I wish I had more spunk; I'd like to go even a couple of shades darker with the same highlights but don't quite have the nerve.
