Imagine my surprise. I'm pro-life, but I'm an ardent supporter of Roe v. Wade. Chalk "Supporting Member of Planned Parenthood Membership Card" one up on my list of "things I'd never thought I'd get in the mail"
1. They called me the other day. For the first time ever,
I was POLLED. I was stunned. I kept the woman on the phone for an hour talking about the issue. I support Roe v. Wade too. I consider myself pro-choice, but I understand your position too. My aunt is both pro-life and pro Roe v. Wade too. Actually, I think most people are in a way.
4. I get stuff from the John Locke Foundation (right wing) and
Robin Hayes all the time. I have begged and pleaded to be taken off their mailing lists and still get it. It's garbage. All I did was sign an online petition to ask Hayes to vote for Hate Crimes legislation.
6. Planned Parenthood does not automatically mean "Abortion"
They do many things in regards to health and family planning issues.
I understand your position. My friend is a devout catholic and pro-life, but she always says "Government, keep your nose out of my business" in regards to the issue. I wish more had your view.
