 Well I'm sorry you lost one of the days off you were looking forward to at the beginning of the week! It sounds like you're still going to have fun though! And yes...I was VERY excited when I saw the schedule and found I was off this weekend!
5. Well, since I just found out yesterday that I have it off...
I haven't had much time to plan...I might take Greekspeak and spend the weekend in Orlando so we can go to Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Then again, we might stay here in Tallahassee and go shopping both days! I dunno...I kinda like the shopping idea.
I remembe when I was 1991 in Florida with my aunt and uncle, we also went to SeaWorld at the end of our trip. It was hilarious. Esp. the Hawaiian dance. We were sitting there like :wtf: My uncle filmed two Japanese toursists who were focusing on that "dance" absorbing it totally. That was even more hilarious that the "dance" itself. I was cracking up
:hi: I love to go out and eat. There is this Mexican restaurant not far from our house that has great food and we go eat there quite often, called San Miguel. They have the BEST queso EVER!
20. We have a superb Mexican restaurant, too. La Brisas...
I need to check and see if I can tempt my fellow Galveston County DUers to meet there one day. Their latest speciality I'm going stupid over is a stuffed avocado they batter and fry. It's heavenly! My other favorite there is the bacon-wrapped shrimp. Hell, everything there is great, including the frozen Margaritas that will knock your socks off!
30. It is good, Clint. We've been going there a couple of years...
once or twice a week and the only dish I've been less than enthusiastic about was some pork that was a little tough once. They are consistently good with both food and service.
 :pals: How are YOU today? Good to see you, as always! I would LOVE to be able to walk to work. It is too far, though. I'd never make it there on time!
15. I'm good - but I think that some more tea will be needed shortly.
Walking to work is wonderful - even when the weather's ghastly I wouldn't swap to driving; but this morning it was crpisly cold (but not too cold), but still sunny :D
If you left home when you got up in the morning you'd probably be there on time - but then we wouldn't get to see your cheery smile around here - which would be very bad indeed. :pals:
I would make it on time to work if I did THAT, but I'm not ABOUT to give up my DU time to walk to work. Work already takes up too much of my life to devote even MORE time to it!
Maybe someday I will live close enough to walk.
It is still nice and warm here in Florida. Then again, we don't get much cold weather around here.
That's one of the main reasons I was glad to get away from Missouri. The winters are miserable there. Lots of COLD (below 10 degrees usually) and lots of snow and ice. Here in Florida, people say stuff like; "What's snow?"
I'm late to Clint's morning party once again. I've been under the weather and I think I'm going to be at home again today. I'm having tea instead of coffee this morning due to my delicate condition.
Glad to hear you have a nice autumn morning. We are still waiting for fall in Virginia. Have a good day. I hope you have enough cashews and Haribo to get you through it.
:donut: :kick: exciting, well i maybe don't know from exciting but did you see that 'brownie' dude on capitol hill before the senate. what...an...insufferably...pissy...snippy, sniping little bitch. a true role model for the bush admin; methinks a cookie cut carbon copy of the g.w. bush mentality on display.
mentioning here in closing; it's way the past time to run these phony ass republican crap-heads the hell out of town black boxes or no black boxes start voting these dregs out of office election 2006.
:hi: It's good to see you again. I've missed you and was concerned about how you were doing with the hurricane and being sick. I hope you're feeling much better.
