1. you can have a rootbeer float any time if you're over 18.
It's a free country. Well, sorta free. Well, not as free as it used to be but so far DHS isn't dictating the food plan.

2. I think we all could use a root beer float.
If you find a good place in Austin that's got 'em, let me know! =)

3. Two places in Austin
My apartment, as of last night, and Jack in the Box. I had to buy the makings for myself, because as a vegetarian it's a little strange driving up to Jack in the Box and ordering just a root beer float. :-)

4. lol!
Jack in the Box has floats? That shows just how well I keep up with the fast-food industry, wow.

I guess since we're not getting rained out here today I might just head out in search of one. :9

5. For a limited time, they claim. Barqs, even. I noticed a sign while
at a stoplight, and it triggered some Pavlovian instinct. Since then, I'm going through cravings!

6. Barqs? Uh-oh.
I'm in trouble. I think you termed it correctly: "Pavlovian."

There's a Jack in the Box just across I-35 here...

7. The Barqs, combined with Katrina, did it for me.
It's made me more nostalgic for things from the Coast. Plus there's a Jack in the Box a block from where I live, so it's just impossible to resist.
