What a day
7 hour power outage...followed by a nasty severe thunderstorm with tornadoes in the area...followed by my DH messing with the circuit breaker, and cutting off power to half the house...followed by watching that Jetliner land.

Freaky as shit!

3. Thanks Peggy
I am on the verge of tears after watching that Jetliner...

Tornadoes hit about 15 miles north of us, so no damage here...other than my husband getting chewed a new one for fucking with the circuit breaker

7. What are friends for?
Did the jetliner land OK? That was right out here, about 3 miles from me...

I always can hear the planes, albeit faintly......

Is your husband OK? I take it he is, judging from your smiley....and your words.....

10. Jetliner landed VERY smoothly considering
part of its landing gear was cockeyed...The nose gear wheels were positioned perpendicular to the way they should have been.

It appears as if no one was seriously hurt.

Hubby was very apologetic...and all is well!

5. Gawd, do I HEAR you
I had to put out a major fire at work today, which I didn't find out about until 4:45. Let's just say that if I didn't finish it up in time, it would have been a HUGE story on the 6 o'clock news-- I kid you not.

They still had a little "exposé" about it at 6:00 PM anyway, but it wasn't as big as it could have been.

Then the damned storms... fuckity fuck fuck.

15. It is whatever it is ...
I do have a service contract. So, I'll just check the mail for a bill - maybe it's covered.

It could have happened in the dead of winter with below freezing temperatures. All things considered ... it's not all that bad. There is always something for me to tweak.

11. Where we are, not bad at all
15 miles north of us had baseball sized hail, tornadoes and straight line winds.

16. Why is your Designated Hitter messing about with the circuit breaker?
Doesn't your team have some electricians to mess about with that sort of stuff?

17. LOL
Funny!

Darling Husband...and since we had a power outage, we have to mess with the breaker, or the air conditioning will not come on.
