I'm sure it is a fine show that challenges ideas of what a television drama should be. But the ads for the show really repulse me...

It could be the cheesiest piece of trash since the last cheesy piece of trash, but I don't have a TV so what would I know? :shrug:

2. "Nip/Tuck" and "Rescue Me" on FX are better than 95% of the other crap.

Those two shows make that channel. Too bad they're on so late at night.

3. I like Rescue Me!

I'm not doubting Nip/Tuck is a good show--just not for me.

From what I've read of it, and seen in the ads, I do admire that it focuses on the darker side of the glossy, glamorous world of plastic surgery perfection.

4. I didn't think I would like it when I first saw it, but it's addicting.

It's got some quirky appeal.
