I have an incredibly random question about chimps and television
Was there a sitcom back in the 70s or 80s that had chimps dressed as people and acting?

No, I am not stoned.

3. Yup, but it was the late 60's, I believe.
I loved that show. I have no idea why.

6. I thought this was going to be about chimps *watching* TV
and, like, what their favorite shows are and stuff. (I am not stoned either...really)

Speaking of chimps, remember that show "BJ and the Bear"? Only in the '70s could someone have sold the idea of a TV show involving the adventures of a truck driver and his chimpanzee friend...and then spun off another show called "Sheriff Lobo" on top of it all.

We need more chimps on TV....

In the late 60's I was in college, so I don't remember the Lancelot show. But by the late 70's I had 2 kids. They also loved the motorcycle CHIPS, it's almost spelled like chimps.

edit for spelling

"Hey Laaaaaaaaance". They had a band too. I think it was the "Evolution Revolution".
