I've zapped the PRAM and reset the PMU I'm gonna do a software restore next, but I have to find ONE MORE FUCKING DISC

8. It's a two year old 17" G4 flat screen

7. What seemed to make it go out?
Try unplugging any peripherals except the mouse and keyboard, and if you're running OS X, hold down the X key when restarting for a safe boot... You should also have a hardware diagnostics disk that could help...
