What is the world's most perfect food.
In your opinion, what food approximates nature's perfect food: the one food that, if you ate nothing else, would provide a completely nutritious diet.

1. Nothing.
That is no one food.

Variety is the essence of the perfect diet.

and there is only one edible thing on that island, and it is nature's perfect food. What is it?

13. I'm not being a spock
I'm just saying that braodly speaking the better a diet is, the more varied it is - the worse a diet is, the narrower it is.

52. yes soy is a very bad choice
even if you're not allergic to start with it's an allergy that can be acquired by abuse of the food

happened to a relative of mine who got on the soy lecithin diet of the 70s

soy is ok in moderation i guess altho i don't agree w. what it is doing to the landscape of the americas & i prefer to urge ppl to avoid it

50. taro kills
if all you eat is taro you die, one of my profs years ago studied this

a tribe he found in the amazon in the 60s had learned it could trade fish for cigarettes and taro

they were dropping like flies of various deficiency disease

i'll never forget his rant aga. taro

it's fine in a balanced diet but not as the only item in diet

Potassium, carbs - good energy source. Makes you feel slightly full (as opposed to stuffing yourself with candy).
