is ok to keep waiting till mid 2006 to buy a house?

1. I hesitate to advise,
but I myself am waiting. Hoping the bubble will burst into a buyer's market, even if interest rates are a bit higher.

I am kind of nerves right now...one of my family members are going for the second house because they are planning to re-sale the first one!!!!:hide:

3. It's a tough one...
.. IMHO, the value of housing has more downward pressure than upward.

On the other hand, interest (mortgage) rates are almost certain to go up.

Mortgage interest is deductible.

Bottom line - roll some dice :)

5. there are empty houses in the south....very, very bad advice.
Property is something you can buy now if you can, however it depends on your market area and economic background.
Interest rates will rise considerable,
the stockmarket is manipulated (read even on DU),
oil will also rise, so whatever you buy be able to grow your own and have a supportive "community" .
Which the root of the word comes from is commune.

I would not buy in urban centers unless you can support yourself through very low transportation costs, food and heat.

Smaller urban centers with diverse agricultural is a better solution .


AND DON'T FORGET: DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY.
