My brain won't shut of either. If I go to bed at 1 I'll toss and turn for 3 hours. I'm going to try cutting back on the computer time and see if that helps.

12. 2800 of the most beautifully composed and sharp words I have EVER
had the pleasure of reading, my dear Will...

That was the article you did for Truthout, right? I made a copy of it for my own pleasure...and I just got it out to look at it again...

Probably the BEST synopsis I've read on 9/11 and the consequences...

I'm sorry I can't entertain you...my brain doesn't want to shut off either...

I'll be up awhile as well...

18. Once Upon A Time There Was a Little Sleepy Fairy
and it was her job to make sure that all the little boys and girls went to sleep.

But this one night she was so tired she decided to take a nap before she made the rounds to check on everyone.

needless to say, many boys and girls were unable to get to sleep.

Some of them sat in their beds reading a book under the covers with a flashlight.
Some of them snuck back in the living room and quietly turned the tv on.
some of them called out for a glass of water.

when the little sleepy fairy finished taking her nap she saw all the boys and girls who were still awake. so she flapped her wings and sailed up to the night sky. carefully, she gathered a handful of moondust and two handfuls of star dust. she put the shimmering powders in her special fairy bag that was made from the silk of a spider's web.

and she sailed back to earth and quietly she tiptoed near the bed of a little boy who was lying awake, staring at the pictures on his wall. she sprinkled just a bit of the moondust mixed with stardust over his head. with a final yawn the small boy closed his eyes for the night.

next, the fairy found a little girl sitting on her couch watching the tv. with her silent movement the sleepy fairy sprinkled some moondust mixed with stardust over the small girl. within moments the girl felt her eyelids grow heavy and she curled up under the blanket on the couch and fell sound asleep.

and just when the sleepy fairy thought she had sent all the children off to dreamland for the night she found young will, seated at his computer. the sleepy fairy shook her head. she smiled knowingly and reached into her silk bag of nighttime magic. she sprinkled several grains of the moondust mixed with stardust over will's head and just as he was beginning to type he felt a wave a sleepiness wash over him. he got up from his computer and climbed into bed and fell sound asleep before his head touched the pillow.

the sleepy fairy went back to her flower petal for the night. she reached into her silk bag and took the last grains of moondust mixed with stardust and sprinkled them above her head. she yawned and pulled the leaf up around her shoulders and wings. the sleepy fairy looked up into the night sky and saw the north star shining a gentle night light down just for her.

smiling, the sleepy fairy closed her eyes and felt the last of the summer breezes blow a warm kiss through her hair.

34. Each number
tells you the number of mines next to that square.

So if you randomly click on the board and it gives you a one, there's one mine next to that square.

My friend says that the strategy is to click all 4 corners first.

Helpful? :)

On edit: try the "beginner" mode. It's easier to figure out the strategies.

35. I learned early to watch for them
I was standing in a bed once, didn't know it until they ALL bit at once. Grabbed the water hose, but I had a million bites by then. I never go outside barefoot, and when I went to Crawford I wore thick boots. Nothing bit me all day, and I didn't use repellant.

Glad to hear that you have fully recovered!
