Watched 5 minutes of "Gay Republicans" & had to turn it off!
I rented it through Netflix. Its a documentary called "Gay Republicans" I thought it was a critical & hypocritical look at gay's who are republicans. But after just 5 minutes it looked like they were glamorizing the log cabin republicans. That plus in 5 minutes IMO they just trashed liberals too much. Who knows, maybe it got better but I just couldn't stomach it.Anyone see/hear of it?

the first couple minutes had this guy bitching about Streisand. He went on about how much his mother loves Streisand & he loves Streisand, but she talks too much about politics so now his mom can't stand her & he hasn't bought a cd of hers in years. He says she needs to shut up! This is what drives me insane. What does good music have to do with it? WHy can't they seperate the artists & the person? I like ALOT of Charelton Heston movies & would LOVE to meet him. I'm smart enough to NOT talk about politics but about his awsome career in Hollywood.Ya see, I can easily seperate the two.

Then they show this gay Republican go to a rally where John Kerry was speaking & they started showing liberals as being'hot heads' & insulting those who disagree with them. Then he began on some Swift boat lie about Kerry & I just said enough! Maybe it got better. Who knows? Wasn't sure if the filmmaker was a gay republican trying to show their side of the story or if maybe it got better & they showed them to be the hypocrites that they are, who knows? I just had enough. I thought I'd enjoy it & thought someone here had seen it. Sorry

5. I thought the Republicans hated gay people, no?
So would a documentary about gay republicans be a little redundant?

9. I'd try to find it an interesting exercise in sociology if I were you.
I've never heard of this film until now.
