What's your favorite Fleetwood Mac song?
I'm kind of partial to "Hold Me" because of the harmonies, but "Go Your Own Way" gets me really pumped up.

What's your favorite?

5. Favorite Stevie Nicks song:
"Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You"
(Written by Stevie Nicks and Keith Olsen)

Has anyone ever written anything for you
In all your darkest hours
Have you ever heard me sing
Listen to me now
You know I’d rather be alone
Than be without you
Don’t you know

Has anyone ever given anything to you
In your darkest hours
Did you ever give it back
Well, I have
I have given that to you
If it’s all I ever do
This is your song

And the rain comes down
There’s no pain and there’s no doubt
It was easy to say
I believed in you everyday
If not for me
Then do it for the world

Has anyone ever written anything for you
In your darkest sorrow
Did you ever hear me sing
Listen to me now
You know I’d rather be alone
Than be without you
Don’t you know

So, if not for me, then
Do it for yourself
If not for me then
Do it for the world
Poet priest of nothing
Poet priest of nothing

6. I like that one and a lot of Nicks' solo....I like Hold Me, too, although
it was more Christine and her co-writer:

Can you understand me
Baby, don't you hand me a line
Although it doesn't matter
You and me got plenty of time

There's nobody in the future
So baby let me hand you my love
There's no step for you to dance to
So slip your hand inside of my glove

Hold me, hold me, hold me
Hold me, hold me, hold me

I don't want no damage
But how'm I gonna manage with you
You hold the percentage
But I'm the fool payin' the dues

I'm just around the corner
If you got a minute to spare
I'll be waitin' for you
If you ever wanna be there

Hold me, hold me, hold me
Hold me, hold me, hold me

Shatter your illusions of love
And can you tell me now
Do you know how

11. Candlebright
For no special reason
I am leaving you for awhile tonight
I'm flying far above you
Still I love you
You make things right

I've been with you before
I'll be with you again
I'll come back for more, yea
The story has a strange ending

Well, you know me I'm a nomad
I can't feel bad
About the way I am
I've been rolling around
My whole life
You're my candlebright in the window

You guide me back again
And I come when you shine
You are not my friend, no
But I am something of a dreamer
I am something of a dreamer
I am something of a dreamer

Still I love you
My candlebright
You are not my friend
But still I love you
You're my candlebright
Still I love you
But you are not my friend
But still I love you
I can't feel bad

I used to love them. Then Stevie Micks solo efforts derailed by association my appreciation of them. There are a couple songs from Rumours I can listen to on the radio now without abruptly changing stations. Perhaps with time I'll welcome them back into the fold.

57. A man after my own heart.
The live version from 1997 is fantasic. I'm glad they finally re-recorded it. I read that Stevie was very upset when it got cut from "Rummors" and that Mick didn't want her to re-record it for one of her solo albums.

You could be my silver springs
Blue green colors flashin’
I would be your only dream
Your shining autumn, ocean crashing
And did you say she was pretty
And did you say that she loves you
Baby, I don’t wanna know

I’ll begin not to love you
Turn around, see me runnin’
I’ll say I loved you years ago
Tell myself you never loved me, no
And did you say she was pretty
And did you say that she loves you
Baby, I don’t wanna know
Oh, no
And can you tell me was it worth it
Really, I don’t wanna know

Time casts a spell on you, but you won’t forget me
I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me

Instrument solo

Time casts a spell on you, but you won’t forget me
I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me
I’ll follow you down til’ the sound of my voice will haunt you (on 3rd time
Stevie oversings, was I such a fool?
You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you
(3x)

You could be my silver springs
My blue green colors flashin’

I really like the guitar mix on "Sara"-- the echoey, washy, arpeggiated stuff Buckingham does floors me. Plus I'm a sucker for those kind of chord progressions that move over a drone root note.

39. forgot one other
during the Bob Welch days...Hypnotized

It’s the same kind of story
That seems to come down from long ago
Two friends having coffee together
When something flies by their window
It might be out on that lawn
Which is wide, at least half of a playing field
Because there’s no explaining what your imagination
Can make you see and feel

Seems like a dream
(they) got me hypnotized

Now it’s not a meaningless question
To ask if they’ve been and gone
I remember a talk about north
Carolina and a strange, strange pond
You see the sides were like glass
In the thick of a forest without a road
And if any man’s ever made that land
Then I think it would’ve showed

Seems like a dream
(they) got me hypnotized

They say there’s a place down in mexico
Where a man can fly over mountains and hills
And he don’t need an airplane or some kind of engine
And he never will
Now you know it’s a meaningless question
To ask if those stories are right
’cause what matters most if the feeling
You get when you’re hypnotized

Seems like a dream
(they) got me hypnotized

58. "Say You Love Me" Christine McVie
She's one of the sexiest singers in RnR!!!

Have mercy, baby on a poor girl like me,
You know I'm falling, falling, falling at your feet,
I'm tingling right from my head to my toes,
So help me, help me, help me make the feeling go.
'Cause when the loving starts, and the lights go down,
And there's not another living soul around,
Then you woo me until the sun comes up,
And you say that you love me.
Have pity baby,
Just when I thought it was over,
Now you got me running, running, running for cover.
I'm begging you for a little sympathy,
'Cause if you use me again it'll be the end of me.
'Cause when the loving starts, and the lights go down,
And there's not another living soul around,
Then you woo me until the sun comes up,
And you say that you love me.
Baby, baby, hope you're gonna stay away,
'Cause I'm getting weaker, weaker everyday,
I guess I'm not as strong as I used to be,
And if you use me again it'll be the end of me.
'Cause when the loving starts, and the lights go down,
And there's not another living soul around,
Then you woo me until the sun comes up,
And you say that you love me.
Fallin' fallin' fallin
Fallin' fallin' fallin
