The priest was reprimanded by his superiors for not exhausting all somatic and/or psychiatric avenues before performing an exorcism. Apparently he took the girl off her Depakote, which was for her seizure disorder. The seizure disorder was likely the cause of her shaking, screaming and outbursts.
