So I'm watching these 9-11 documentaries,
and the one on now has been people from two companies each of whcih were in a tower in 80s level floors, and the stories of employees - how they escaped, what happened, who died, what happened afterward.

At one point, they were showing the footage from those firemen guys who managed to film the first plane coming in, and I broke down in tears, screaming inwardly "IT DIDN'T HAVE TO HAPPEN!"

I have no intention, at this point, of ever forgiving Fuckstick McAWOL for putting me through that hell, and for fucking up my city, and for fucking up my country.

And it's funny, I forgave the terrorists on the walk home that day. Oh, sure, I have my moments of hatred and evil memories and evil thoughts about them, but I've forgiven them. Shrubbie, though - I don't think forgiveness will ever happen.

How many more lives is he going to ruin before someone reins him in?

1. Back up....
You're too close...that's mentally unhealthy...so many people are waking, seeing the light...it's only a matter of time.

 we're here for you until then...

2. Normally it doesn't bother me, and I can talk about it and see images
and yada yada yada, and not really be bothered. Thank God the nightmares are very few and far between now.

But after last week's disaster, and now we're coming up to 9-11, and watching these documentaries... it got a little overwhelming.

The only person to ever have been president on a day my office got blown up by terrorists is...ding ding ding, Shrubbie McCokespoon.

Poor you...poor, poor you...

They'll pay...if your God is watching, they will pay in full.

4. Well, if MY God is watching, they won't pay
they'll be forgiven. And hopefully, in that forgiveness, they will have a moment of incredible shame.

That's the good thing about my God, but the sometimes frustrating part - even the evil fucks get forgiven. Which means, then, that I, too, must try to forgive.

Aye, it's a conundrum! I'm pretty good at forgiveness, but as I mentioned above, I don't think I can ever forgive Shrubbie.

6. Damn - have you been reading the RCL?
(Revised Common Lectionary)

Gotta preach on forgiveness - 70 x 7 - and the parable of the unforgiving servant.

Quite frankly, I ain't in a charitable mood right now.

8. Yes, actually, I have!
It is a challenging passage, but I've made an agreement with God that for now, it's okay that I have just the one person whom I am not ready to forgive, and perhaps never will, until I am dead in heaven and in perfect bliss and come to see that even that criminal asshole's soul has a Divine radiance which I cannot ignore. Or maybe I'll just smash his face in with my harp. Hard to predict, really.

9. Does heaven have a "time-out" room? You're gonna need it.
Them's the tough ones to love, aren't they?

I think God's more impressed by our willingness to work at it, than our actual accomplishment of forgiving. Too many times, I've told God "I just don't have it in me to forgive, so I need you to do that for me - and keep working on me until I get there."

5. we're on the downward side now.
I know it's not much help, but he's got less time left in than he's already burned through. His poll #'s are so low now that he has little "capital" left, which means less power (I hope).
I think we will see in the coming months some of the bushie friends cannibalize themselves. NO might just be the straw that breaks the camels back and gets some sheeple thinking what we already know - that it's time for them to wake up.
