Did you feel embarrassed for someone when they spell...
"coming" as "cumming"?
When I was in college, I worked in a copy shop and saw this in a surprising number of orders.
I could only imagine that when they saw the word printed it was usually spelled "cumming", and could only be indicative of the bulk of their reading material. Not that there is anything wrong with that...

2. I've seen it and I've cringed
but I tend to get more upset (don't ask why!) to see it's for its, there for their or they're, to for too or two, etc. Another one I've noticed lately is exacerbate for exasperate and vice versa.
