How do I post a picture on DU?
Newbie question!

I have a photo of a Cindy Sheehan vigil I would like to post, but it doesn't have a URL - it's an image file on my hard disk. I can't seem to figure out how to post it - what am I missing?

2. Here's how...
Go to www.photobucket.com and open a account. It's free. Upload the picture you want to post into photobucket. Under the picture you uploaded you will see the URL address for your picture. Just copy and paste that address and you're done!

It's not difficult. Once you get set up at Photobucket, it's easy to post pics!

3. You need to upload it somewhere.
You can not direct link it from your computer. Start an account at a site like photobucket then upload it there. Then get the link and post it here.

7. you can also try image shack
you don't even need to register...

just pick the last link after you upload your picture (direct link to the image)
