Big ol' "Luna Moth" on my front porch tonight. (PIC)

The white part of the moth in the center is fuzzy. The flash on the camera kind of washed out the color of the moth, so I tried it using the light from a flashlight.

I put the quarter up there to give you some idea of the moth's size.

10. I had never

seen one before and I was here alone. I didn't quite know how to describe it, so .. out came the camera. When I showed it to a co-worker he knew right away what it was.

I felt really pleased to have caught it on film.
My camera is never far away.
