does anybody know. I'm writing a piece about talking to a freeper at an anti-war rally -- he was part of the pro-war counter protest. And I am wondering what they call us?

Is the only one that has a grain of truth in it. Look at the number of posts at any "progressive" website, including DU, where members equate being a "Freeper" with being poor and uneducated--as if that makes one's opinion not count. It is strange, becuase that kind of dialogue is so removed from the history of progressive politics in the US.

30. I feel for the impoverished underclass in this country known as the

working poor. People struggling, not to get ahead, but just to keep their heads above water. But those among them who turn to Flush Limpdick and his ilk, and continue to vote against their own best interests because of reich-wing propaganda are a little harder to feel sorry for. They could at least stay informed and find out who the real enemy is.

The fire I was talking about was the media presence of whatever it is you want the masses to believe. We need to take that resource back from the freepers.
