BREAKING: 'Friends' replaces Courtney with "Cupid" clone
Even my wife agrees that Lisa on "Cupid" (dumb show) looks frighteningly like Courtney Cox of "Friends" (equally dumb show) and is quite pretty.

The OLD

The New Improved model

2. Does that dude
Who made the "McCartney died in '66" Page know? Cause he could generate a pretty convincing conspiracy out of this somehow.

4. I don't know
Perhaps we could put this Lisa Shannon in the same room with David Arquette to see if indeed Courtney's attraction to him is a sign of mental illness or an anomaly of the universe, which I believe most experts agree it must be.

In another experiment this Lisa Shannon could be cast in an unfunny rip-off of 'Seinfeld'but with recurring story lines that were obvious last week and don't put it in the prime comedy spot on the major network of the day and dont' promote it, to soulless yuppies who actually don't have any friends, to the point that they have no choice but to watch it for fear of not being considered "cool" or "relevant" by those in their temporary social circle so we can see how it does in the ratings.

3. The first time I saw a promo for Cupid, I thought...
...WTF does Courteney Cox need with a dating show? And, isn't she already married? :wtf:

The "Cupid" woman does bear a strong resemblance - except for the small cleft in the chin.

6. I know someone who works at Warner Bros. (or used to, anyway).
When she would go to the gym, she would often run into Courteney. Her comment was that ol' Court could stand to eat a few sandwiches - very thin! But my friend said she was pleasant, at least, some actors aren't.

8. Hey, we LIKE thin women, remember?
And, I hasten to add, women who are not thin. I mean, women who are of other.....

*sigh*

I know this is a losing battle. I give in. Just hit me now.....

10. There's thin...and there's thin...
I'm in no position to argue the point, having not been naked in a locker room with Courteney. I'm just reporting...

Thin and athletic is good...thin, and well, emaciated is not. I don't think Mrs. Arquette is TOO thin, but I've never been in her presence to know for sure.

Your *thwap* is on its way - I hear it now.

12. Fear the *thwap*
Ask not for whom the *thwap* thwaps; it thwaps for thee.

I mean, me.

Nope, starved isn't good - if I'm ever naked in a locker room with Courteney Cox, I'l be sure to bring a camera so I can share the experience with you......

9. Not showing Cupid here
Edited on Wed Jul-23-03 10:39 AM by supernova
Not that I'd watch it anyway. Too stupid.

We get reruns of The Andy Griffith Show.

edit: Don't know why. I didn't hear any public outcry about what an evil immoral show it is. I mean, there was more of a ruckus when NYPD Blue debuted here, and we've seen all of those.
