2. I hope you have A.C? I do, but my last electric bill was $98.00
 It's going up to 97 here in Philly, with a heat index of 105.

and I thought Philly was usually just a bit hotter than we are. Luckily, my landlord replaced my broken bedroom air conditioner on Wednesday. I am VERY grateful (although he was a bit pissy about it, as usual).

9. I'm in an apartment complex, and my air conditioner is ancient
It's not what you would call energy efficient

19. How are you surviving?
Go to a movie. I'm going to so I can let someone else pay for my AC for a while.

It doesn't seem to be moderating today.

I work in the mountains of east San Diego County, & every day the humidity is so oppressive. There are tropical storms that just keep staying over the area. It is affecting my work, so I cannot wait until it is all over. Ugh! Tammy
