this is my last numbered post.....
after this, I go off to the vague and mysterious land of 1000+

I feel like I oughtta make it a good post. hrmm.... lemme think.

OK... got it. I bought four books today. Which should I read first?

a) Kate Remembered (a biography of Katherine Hepburn)
b) Seabiscuit (a biography of a horse that could run fast)
c) Il Gigante (a biography of the statue of David)
d) Benjamin Franklin: An American Life (a biography of some guy)

I really oughtta buy some fiction......

4. oh, I know...
but it's just not the same.

I won't ever get that little frisson of pleasure that comes with seeing a nice round number above my post. 100.... 300.... 700.... and best of all, 800. Now I'm just part of the mob.

But I'll get over it.

And how come nobody's telling me which book to read?!?!

6. Good fiction.
I recommend the Anita Blake novels by Laurell K. Hamilton. One of the many things I like about Anita is that her social life makes mine look sane.

7. I would go with
Kate Remembered. She was a class act and very much ahead of her time.

10. Are you into Stephen King?
If so, I just picked up 'Black House' which is the sequel to his awesome 'The Talisman'. Once again, it's a joint Stephen King/Peter Straub collaboration.
