I know to quickly defrost a chicken breast, you can put it in a ziploc bag and put the bag in a bowl of water for about 30 min. Probably would work for beef, too.

4. Beef and Pork cook fine frozen
Chicken not so well. But if it is really steak and not some random chunk of roast or cheaper cut, it would actually be faster and tastier to pan fry it on top of the stove in a heavy skillet.

Put it in a skillet on med. heat and cover it until you can cut it and you know it's thawed. Then turn the heat up and brown it.

7. Put it in the micro and hit defrost
that would work, and then you can massage it with some Worchester Sauce and some BBQ Sauce and you'll be smiling. !

I've never done such a thing to an innocent, unsuspecting steak. If you do it, let us know how the experiment worked.
