For all you beer lovers tired of waiting for a brew, an Ashwaubenon native came up with the answer. His Chicago company calls it Turbo Tap, and he's trying to bring it to a tavern and sports stadium near you.
The Turbo Tap looks pretty tame by itself, just a few inches of cast stainless steel inserted into a beer mug. When it goes into the glass, though, and does what it was made to do, its inventor claims it pours a beer in just two seconds with minimal foam.
"We can pour draft beer about two to four times faster than conventional taps whileproducting that perfect beer with the perfect foam collar," inventor Matthew Younkle said.
