4. Actually...
And I'm in 'em right now. Well, Under Armour bicycle-shortish things. With nothing else. Ask me anything. :P

But you're still cool.

6. I'm talking about layering them.
Hey, biking shorts on a guy who REALLY bikes is sexy.

But don't you remember in the late eighties when EVERYONE wore the cheap knock-off bicycle shorts under short shorts?

:D

8. I was man enough to wear those bicycle shorts WITHOUT shorts
It's possible that I misunderstood the specifics of that style at that particular time. Not that fashion and trendiness has ever been a concern but, well....I'm not sure I'll ever forget the time that I went to visit a gay church when I was wearing just my bicycle shorts with a pastel T-shirt. :o

I really did. It was..um...enlightening.

13. Well, it was actually more a case of not even thinking first...
but it was kind of flattering, in a slightly uncomfortable way.

At least I know how women feel when they're being ogled...the dudes were great, actually, but I did attract a lot of glances (not at my eyeline, thank you very much, you objectifying male pigs) when I was alone outside the restrooms, waiting for my wife. She always used to take a lot of time in the restroom, and I felt every second of it that day. I was feeling rather at one with my brotehrs but, at the same time, I'd realize "that dude is checking out my pelvic area! and his partner doesn't even realize!!"

Not so long ago someone commented that my bottom is shapely (I wouldn't know, but it is pretty muscular...bet I could crack walnuts back there), so maybe it was akin to straight males tending to find their gaze drawn to various female bits despite their best intentions. They really were a great group, in general, but I could perhaps have dressed somewhat differently if I'd even thought for an instant of the revealing nature of spandex underwear. Mixed messages, and all that.

Maybe it's a good sign that I didn't obsess or worry about going into a gay stronghold without the protective power of a Ted Nugent T-shirt (and, according to the Religious Right, crucifix), but the fact is that I was wearing those bicycle shorts everywhere at the time and didn't even think anything of it (and, in retrospect, I probably shouldn't have worn them everywhere as I did, for that matter). The shorts were eventually purloined by some scientist on a tropical island, eventually, and I lost my second pair in the same manner in a similar locale -- probably just as well, really.

For a while, though, all those years ago, I was briefly informed of part of what it is to be "Female Like Me."

Just being prudent.

She didn't have one, becaue she's from Kansas City.

I'm making this all up, you know....
