Just finished watching "Beyond the Sea", written, directed and
starring Kevin Spacey. Story of Bobby Darin. God, it was a hundred times better than I thought it would be. I highly recommend it. Kevin Spacey is so incredibly talented. It was so beautifully directed. HE CAN SING TOO!!!!

1. I was sooo looking forward to it, but didn't care for it.
Too fantasy-minded, and I didn't like Kid Bobby as a sort of narrative device. And frankly, Spacey's age kept getting in the way. (If only it were done ten years ago.)

Too bad. I really like Spacey, and I LOVE Bobby Darin. Yes, Kevin can sing, but Darin's the man.

Make sure to buy a BD album or two if you haven't yet, okay?
