1. Ha! I'm just a few miles away from the launch site.
I plan to go up on the roof of my office building and watch it go up. Got the alarm set on my Outlook calendar. Whoo Hoo!!!

4. More than a few. It's a very cool sight.
My favorite was in '98 or '99 when I watched a launch very early in the morning. It was just getting light out and it was simply beautiful.

One afternoon, I even got to see a landing when they brought the space shuttle back to the Cape. Shook my whole house.

Unfortunately, the launch today got scrubbed, so we'll see what happens over the next several days.
