Thank you to whoever donated to my college fund!
:loveya: I'm not sure who you all were here, because the real names threw me off... but I appreciate it, I wasn't expecting anyone to actually do it!

I promise to make you guys proud <3

1. You had a college fund set up?
I missed it. Sorry!

(so, take that as an admission that I was one of the jerkoffs who DIDN'T donate)

Where ya going to college?

14. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
NYU is one of the bestest places anywhere!

I'm very glad to hear you are going there.

Oh, you're gonna love it love it love it!!!!!! And you'll fit right in. I'm so glad you didn't settle for a lesser school.

Staying in a dorm?

22. Well, son of a gun!! If I were still in NYC, I'd take you out to dinner
when you arrived!

Oh, you are going to have such a blast, and will be a different person in four years - a different, incredibly cool, and far more mature artist better person.

I cringe whenever I see a very talented young person, who could go to NYU or Wellesly or other excellent school, say, "Yeah, I think I'll go to (some lower level state university)" or some other second or third-tier school, just because it's closer to home.

ARGH!!

Anyway, have fun.

And go to the Union Square green market for me once in a while, and get some fresh hot apple cider in the Fall and let me know how I enjoyed it.

26. It was a tough decision
With BU rejecting me, and Northeastern offering me way more money than NYU... it was a really hard place to be in. Money is a huge deal. Especially in my family, where my parents are both teachers and don't make a lot of "extra" money. But somehow I wound up deciding to go to one of the most expensive schools in the country, and somehow I'll pay it back! I figured it wasn't worth settling for Northeastern when they didn't even have the specific program I wanted. So now I'll be in debt my entire life, hehe :)

23. sounds like fun
that political science course is an elective and I had the fortune to sit in a sample of that professor's class and I really got it. I am kinda bummed though that most of my good friends will be going to places like Tech, Radford, hell thats around the same distance if not further from here to NYU.

21. That's hugh!
Seriously, it's great what people will do for each other.

While my daughter was away in school and needed money, one of her friends here at home went to a local fountain on a busy corner, put out sign that said "Raising College Money for a Friend," and proceeded to juggle for hours and hours. He raised almost $500.00!
