Stock market prediction

Gold will be over $400 an ounce by the end of the month. $425 by the end of the year. Currently at $384ish. This is due to another Wall Street scandal, the record deficit and the weakening dollar. I actually had this feeling 2 weeks ago after reading one of Krugman's columns, it has gone up since that point.

4. If your 401(K) plan has a precious metals fund

it would be a could idea to start puting some contributions that way for the next year. According to Paul Krugman, financial markets may go into chaos. Hard investments like precious metals and real estate will fare best.

2. I keep telling my mom

to start putting her money in gold, and she keeps ignoring me.... whilst complaining that her investments are worth so much less now than they were two years ago.

she should be some stocks, some bonds, some real estate, some precious, etc.
