1. That was worth staying up for.

When Denver pinned them deep and then they had to take that safety I figured it was all over for you but the crying. Unbe-fucking-lievable ending. Congrats!

Just remember though...2 weeks baby. Two weeks til my team opens up a can of whoop ass on your team. ;-)

3. When's spring training?
Football just isn't keeping me interested this season. Detroit sucks, Giants suck....
*sigh*. Only 3 more months til pitchers and catchers report...:(

5. Of course. Good move
...not that it will matter if The Boss f--ks things up and doesn't resign Pettitte (SOX WANT HIM!) and retain the team. The Mt. Steinbreiner explosion hasn't happened yet, and that scares me to death.
See, if the Lions would JUST get some decent receivers for Joey Harrington, I might forget about baseball not being around for .0090090 nano seconds..but nooo...they want Joey to be perfect..

Was the game good and do they wear Red Sox?

Pardon my rant: I'm still Po'd about witnessing Bartman's error... and I promise not to tell y'all where he lives nor his address.

7. Man that sucks
The Broncos are all injured and the Chiefs are undefeated. The Bucs are off to another slow start and what the hell happened to the raiders? What a shitty year of football.

12. There Are Two Sports
Well, three if you count on betting.

Baseball, College Football and the Super Bowl.

Then again, what do I know about sports; I'm a Cub's fan....

Danny Kanell sure showed me something tonight. He needs more game time. Maybe the Redskins should look into a trade after Beuerlein and Plummer get healthy (next season).

11. Nah, we're keeping Kanell
Beurlein is retiring after this season. He went down, and badly. He need an asskicking and lots of it. Good thing he broke his pinkie and was thrown into the IR. He deserved it, and shouldn't have played his 17th season. It was his time last year, and should have told Shanahan HELL no.

Then, maybe, just maybe, we could have won more than just two games that was EXTREMELY close.

Like the KC game, Minnesota game, New England game, and the Baltimore game. Kanell would have been A LOT more prepared.

9. Sorry Will
Even I have to admit although the game was tight, but if it wasn't for Elam's injury AND constant cheating by the New England, the Broncos would have blown them AWAY. Repeatedly. Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

PS, there were several non-calls, including that helmet-to-helmet hit on Smith. That should have given a personal foul giving the Broncos a 1st and 10 @ the 19, plus an ejection of the safety that made that hit, EVEN if it was a free play caused by an encroachment.

14. Forget about Elam
Plummer, Buerlien, Gold, Mobley, and McAffery those are some of the best players on the team with the exception of the second name I listed, Denver was definately hurt due to injuries but look at this way, the Broncos have a bye week and Plummer, Mobley, and McAffery are expected to play and could make a run for the playoffs, they are not at all in a bad situation.

13. Congratulations
The Patriots beat the Broncos who had a third string quarterback on the field, who didn't have their second or third best wide reciever, their two best linebackers, and their kicker throughout the whole game. Call it bitterness if you want too but you caught Denver when they were not in full strength.

With an ABC "Another Boston Choke" poster - actually it was the top of a cardboard box written on with a sharpee - Guess what - he can go f**k himself.

We were soooo close. No offense to NE fans. I hate Denver more, it's just we picked them.

But why in the world would you spend that much money on a team with so many key injuries?
