You know what I miss? Those DU Daily threads.

You know, like this one from April of 2003 or this one from the end of that year.

When I first came to DU in 2002, that was one of the things I liked about the Lounge. What happened to those? Can we bring them back?

and 3 games ahead in first for the Nats. So its been good I guess as of hte past series. Ive been great though, hanging out in Dc.

4. The Lounge Mods used to do them.. When I first started we shared them

and after a time it ended up being one person doing them. I was on the west coast, and always tried to put them up at 9P here, so they were up by midnight eastern time..Then we had "Guest Daily Thread" people for a while too.. I think they were fun too, and a great way to draw new folks in..

We had contests too.. Remember the Booty Prize for last post before midnight??

we had games.. and questions of the day.. and First Post trophies :)

Looking back...they were fun... at the time, they got a bit stressful :)

11. I learned how to copy and paste my first day as moderator

I was a lounge mod for one term and I HATED doing those threads!!! I think NewYawker99 did the best. She was the lounge mod before me and gave me all the links of where she got her info, but I just didn't have the creativity to do them
