1. They actually call these 'garden homes'.
Meaning, two bedroom houses with small yards. ;)

Edited on Fri Jul-08-05 05:35 PM by GOPisEvil
Unfortunately, my house was built in 1983. :)

Edited to add: welcome to DU. Check the Texas Forum, we Austinites get together for brunch every now and then.

Carriage House. Single floor, but with a loft. Back from the road, surrounded by trees and nature. I absolutely love it here.

9. A two story, side by side duplex
We have our own yard, garage, patio, basement. The walls are supposedly really thick but we still hear our neighbors sometime.

10. It's a condo, but 3 stories.
It's a townhouse- basement, main floor, an upstairs, and even an attic (but I haven't been up there). :D

13. I have a small attic
So small that I didn't include it. If you go to a full attic a lot, I guess you could include it as a story. :hi:

16. Our ecological footprint is small.
Apartment, walk to work, eat at home, take trains (Or used to before we got a puppy!), and pretty much non-obtrusive.

23. Amen
I've been in my condo for thirteen years now (yikes, I'm getting old) and love watching other people maintain the grounds. The closest I'll ever get to a "real house" is a townhouse with a deck right out to the property line - don't like yardwork!
