My answer to the "These Colors Don't Run" bumper sticker

That last helicopter lifting out of Saigon. Seems like we were running then or something. Of course, I wasn't born until '82, but TV is wonderful.

helicopter off the roof that day. What a day that was, I can tell you.

And yes, there was no doubt in anyone's mind that we were running then.

I had a beautiful black standard poodle that would pee on everything and he boy could pee.

The colors would run after he got through. Toby was a dog that could pee on a dime.

I would emphasize "SHOULD" and not "RUN", though, since that's the word that is being added to the idiot phrase "These colors don't run!"

8. The dumbest version I've seen is

a local radio station's, which says "These stripes don't run!" I'm thinking, "No, see, COLORS, as in colors that run like in the laund - oh, never mind".

Another good one would be, "Do these colors think?"
