Anyone here have friends/family in London?
I hope they are okay and you're allright.
My two friends Kat and Aaron are there. They're both reporters so I assume they're extremely busy right now, but I sent them both an email asking to ship me word ASAP.

I am thanking my lucky stars; he was using the public transit system extensively.

12. We found them!!! They are all OK!!!!
Just got this from Steve's sister that lives here:

Everyone's OK. Steve is at work and Maggie is at home. Apparently Steve works near where one of the bombs went off, so he's stuck at work for now.

Note:
My prayers are with the UK and its families.

10. My daughter's fiance drives a double decker bus in London...
we live in the US and my daughter will be moving to London. We were going crazy this morning but finally heard from him and he is fine. He was a computer engineer but hated it and quit his job then started driving a double decker. I think he should go back to his old job.

17. Friend (equity trader) in London finally checked in this afternoon
"We made it home safely and all my friends are accounted for... I live and work slightly south of the attacks. I live near Earl’s Court and work at Blackfriar’s both within zone 1. Going home after work today was a scene in itself. I walked home with literally thousands of people. Tomorrow I will be avoiding public transportation and on Sunday I will be leaving for Greece. The holiday is much needed because I am ready to leave London ASAP."

I guess this means I'm still invited, as was proferred last week over drinks in Portland, to stay with her and her husband in London in conjunction with a coming trip to Paris. If she just doesn't decide to stay in Greece, that is.
