I thought the guy was a jerk. I came into it about 15 minutes late. I would be interested in seeing him 6 months to a year from now to see if his attitude towards gays has really changed.
I mean by the end he had definitely opened his mind a little bit. Like the guy last week who went to live with Muslims, I think they should at least get credit for being willing to put themselves in another man's shoes for that time period. I don't think someone who was a complete jerk and unwilling to change would even agree to live in those situations.
This guy from last night was definitely less open minded then the guy from last week who seemed to have a genuine willingness to learn more about this other culture. But not everyone works at the same speed and I think the show would suffer if they tried to get a 100% pat answer and result from the people every single time.
