I personally have never met a repub who could tell the truth or who wouldn't kill his/her own children if there were a buck to be made or stolen by the process......

Any thoughts or comments?:)

The eternal optimist in me likes to think 'poor misguided fools', but how do you break through the ignorance barrier?

I have some other candidates for lower than whale shit, but pubs, especially the neo-cons, are awfully close.

3. I look at this way:

The ones at the top: evil fucks

The followers: ignorant fools, easily duped and swayed, but I have little pity on them, becuase they are the type of people who no matter how much they cry about "freedom" and "ability to have our opinion", they don't want to have an opinion, and they want strong leaders. They want it so much, that even as their leaders are destroying their jobs, they'll keep following.

Which is why the repuke party is so readily adaptable to fundamentalist Christianity, as well.

"Life needs rules - just give us rules, and society will work like perfect clockwork" <-- that's their ignorance.

The ignorant will never rise in power in that structure, becasue they believe in it. The ones who rise to the top are the ones who realize and know it's a scam, and are able to play it. Perhaps we should say they are amoral, as oposed to evil fucks, but the results they end up with are the results of evil fucks, so I stand by my original naming. :-)

(and of course, it's a bit more complicated than this, but by dividing them into two groups - leaders and followers - I think we get a pretty darn close summation of these *!@($%^@#^)

I just disagreed with their politics. I think a lot of people are misguided more than they are evil.

Now the ones in office, they're evil, but not the little guys.
