OK Women. Time to play "What STALL do you choose"?
Edited on Thu Jun-30-05 12:26 PM by Yit
We have all been through this situation. You have five stalls. For this demonstration, from left to right we number them 1,2,3,4, and 5. You walk into the restroom and you see feet in stall number 1. At the same time you see feet in stall number 5. Which stall do you use? Please feel free to come up with other situations and discuss the different possibilities. So that the men of the lounge don't feel left out, feel free to make fun of the women for having such "difficult" bathroom decisions.

On edit: I suppose men can play too.

1. Stall 3
is what I choose in that situation. I prefer a wide "private space" area.

Otherwise, if it's a croweded event: game, concert, fair, etc, then I just take first available like everyone else.

If the room is empty, I take the handicapped stall on the far wall. It's usually 1) the cleanest, 2)stocked with TP, and 3) in working order.

2. Check to see if 3 is clean.
If not, move on.

7. So you will not
use 2 or 4?

16. Cleanliness trumps proximity to others.
All things being equal, I prefer to be FAR from other people doing their business.

But things are never equal in a bathroom stall. I would use 2 or 4 if 3 had a smell, or moving water (which would reveal that someone had just left), or anything gross about it.

5. I head for the handicapped stall
I need a lot of room because I always have book bags and the like with me. If I'm in a high traffic area and believe there might be an immediate need for a handicapped person to use it, then I don't go for that one.

6. If the 1st is clean I usually go to that one
Reason why: I always use to go to the last stall but then I thought everyone goes to the first stall, so now I go the first stall because I think the last stall is more frequently used. Of course if everyone thought like me then I'm only kidding myself

17. If all the stalls are clean and have toilet paper...
I pick the one cnext to the occupied stall. I like to shove my feet way over so they are almost (but not quite) in the next stall. It makes me giggle to watch the feet shuffle uncomfortably in the stall next to mine.

run out of the stall, kick down the stall door next to you and scream "unless you want that thing getting a taste of your cheeks, shit or get off the pot"!

19. 1st or 2nd
I read somewhere that those are the least chosen and therefore the least used stalls in women's restrooms, so that's why I choose them. Most women tend to think that since they are nearest the door, they get used more often and pass them over for the ones in the middle and at the end of the row. Seems to be accurate, as I usually find paper in those stalls. ;-)

32. Another issue - if you've used one stall and later have to go again
do you try to use the same stall again?
