I tried to watch "Ray" yesterday
but I kept getting interrupted by phone calls and chatting invations ... and I couldn't finish it because it got late and I needed to go to bad.

But so far I really liked what I've seen. Jamie Foxx really deserved that Oscar.

3. no it actually was only one friend calling me
over and over because she got insecure again regarding a man. Reading too much into something.

2. It's a good film.
I saw most of Million Dollar Baby after the awards shows and all the Oscar hype... maybe that's why I didn't think it was as great as everyone seemed to make it out. I think Hotal Rwanda deserved the Oscar for Best Pic.

24. You might change your mind after seeing Hotel Rwanda
Don Cheadle was truly robbed.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've cried from watching a movie.

After one scene with Don Cheadle and a necktie, I lost it (not going to say more to spoil it). I started bawling, had to pause the movie, etc.

After that scene, the floodgates were open. I ended up sobbing a couple more times during that movie.

When one man with a simple prop and no dialogue can trigger that sort of reaction in me, it's simply due to a truly amazing work of acting.

here in Germany. I will order it as soon as it comes on the market.

After all what I read hear, it is really tearing one up. I am sure I will let you know how I felt once I watched it.

5. Don't worry, MissHoneyChurch. After you watch it all the FIRST time,
you will find yourself aching to watch it again. Jamie Foxx IS Ray Charles. It's SCARY good!

6. I am sure I will watch more than once again
I told my mom yesterday that I bought it and will take it with me when I am going to her place this weekend. We will watch it together I am sure.
It is really impressive to see Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles.

13. I thinks he's sexy too

He started in the tv show In Living Color which was a comedy sketch show sort of thing. Then he was in a bunch of lame comedies that were more goofy than funny... and now lately I think he is making much better movies... good for him!

20. it sure is long
that is the reason why I stopped watching last night. It was already 11.30pm and I had still at least half an hour to go. I will finish watching it tonight.

25. You think Ray was long?
I started watching "Once Upon a Time in America" (Jewish gangster movie with Dinero, James Woods from the 80s). that sucker's 230 minutes. There's an intermission after two and a half hours.

I was crying in the end. When he went threw the withdrawal and saw his mom and little brother in his dreams.

Man, that movie really impressed me.
