21. Well we can be reasonably certain it was really him there speaking.
Which is a shame, because it would have been a lot cooler if it had been Will Ferrell doing his Dubya impression for an hour.

14. I didn't watch it either...
but the crocodile tears, that ridiculous set, and what I assume was a speech full of empty platitudes about freedom and staying the course make me think of that movie Starship Troopers.

35. Honestly, I found Starship Troopers to be hilarious...
although this was back in the late 90's when the fascist mentality that it was mocking wasn't as prevalent. Now I think watching it would just make me cry.

29. That looks like a soundstage for a really crappy
straight to video movie about a delusional guy with a low IQ who thinks he's President and goes around starting unnecessary wars and then tries to justify his actions by appearing at military bases. Nah. Forget it. Completely unbelievable. Audiences would stay away in droves.

It must have been gas. Why on earth did he have that little demonstration of damage control at Ft. Bragg? He could have had it in the WH Press room and not inconvenienced so many of our troops and their families. It was asinine. They weren't glad to see him and he didn't get to wear a uniform. He should have stayed home.

41. I remember when congresswoman Patricia Schroeder cried...
...and she was nearly run out of town: "not becoming of a senator" "not up for the job" "she should be home with her kids, not in the senate." Times they are a changin I wonder what the reaction would have been if Clinton had cried during a speech?
