The word is.......ImporTant..not imporDant
Edited on Sat Jun-25-05 11:42 PM by SoCalDem
More and more I am hearing lazy people turning T s into Ds..:grr:

Are little kids not taught anymore, how to sound words out, and what the letters sound like?

These are grownups constantly mispronouncing EASY words, and no one ever corrects them..

This is NOT about *², since he is "toDally" beyond help

1. You're right, and right to be concerned.
I'd back up your argument with other examples, but I'm too tired...

4. Number One Offender: Scott McClellan
I want to crawl through the television and strangle him whenever he says that word.

Or whenever he doesn't.

until the last few years, phonics was forbidden in our local public schools ( teachers were fired for even attempting to teach it at little . 'kidspell' was used.
