Is there such a thing as an understandable cell bill? Verizon rant...

We have four phones and our bills are so incredibly complicated to read and decipher, which I think is part of the whole design - just pay it to get it out of your hair. We had another cell company before this one and it was complicated too. This is the only bill I get that we just cannot figure out up from down. And they are always way higher than I expect. Is there a company out there that has clear, understandable billing???

1. No, why would they? Cell phone service is a Confusopoly.

Instead of a Monopoly, a Confusopoly just makes the service so damn confusing to figure out that it's not worth the amount of time it would take, so you just shut up and pay your bill. Scott Adams wrote about that business model and gave it that name in a comedy book. . . and he was right.

3. I have no problem with my cingular bill

well besides actually paying it...

you get your plan amount, taxes and regulatory fees. Then a list of all calls made and recieved, all messages made and recieved and all data transferrred. easy as pie.

5. Cingular is as bad. I had ahelish time trying to figure out the

huge charge on my phones. I am CONFIDENT this is intentional.
