Boogerhead Update.
My wife started a bath. He jumped into the tub and started sucking the water out of the faucet. She turned off the hot water and let him go. He went at it for ten minutes and he's soaked.
No wonder he's been yowling. But can a cat overdose on water?

Just kidding. But that might not be a bad idea, now.

3. *LOL*
I think a live Boogerhead is safer than a spook Boogerhead. Cats are really funny I think. We had a cat named Scooter and people would ask about him all the time. He was like a fricken celebrity. He finally passed on and one night I was lying in bed and I felt a cat jump up on bed and cuddle between my legs. I thought it was one of the other cats trying to take Scooter's place. I thought it was pretty cool. I layed still cuz I didn't want him/her to leave. I stayed there for a long time, quietly. I finally moved to see which one of the cats was there and there was no cat there. Boogerhead reminds me of Scooter.

5. Boogerhead sleeps with me, too.

I'd definitely miss him. It takes a special kind of cat to win me over. But my Chow mix female raised him from kitten, so he thinks he's half dog. She's a very good mother, and since she was spayed (and Boogerhead is neutered), she needed a "pup."

4. Sounds like he was very dehydrated
If his mouth is still sore he might not be able to get the water he craves by dipping his head down. Running the water for him might have been the best thing for him.

Is he eating any better? His mouth is probably hurting more now that it is healing than it did when he first met the fan. Poor Boogerhead!

You might try getting a baby medicine syringe (it looks like a big eye dropper) and offer him water that way numerous times through out the day to keep him hydrated.

Hope he is feeling better really soon!

6. Oh, yeah, that mouth has got to be sore.
He doesn't take to the droppers too well, especially since I have to give him antibiotics with one twice a day. I see the bathtub as a happy accident, and predict that he will never drink from a bowl again. And it was a very funny sight. I wish I had a camera.

8. My old cat Bitty LOVED to drink the drips from the edge of the spigot
that's at the top of a pipe about 2 feet from the ground in our back yard. If you let the bathtub tap provide a steady drip for a few minutes a few times a day Boogerhead would probably find it an easy way to sip the water, rather than the more strenuous lapping that a bowl of water requires. Our neighbor dog has a drip fixture on their outdoor faucet so when she licks it water drizzles out- kind of like a water bottle for rabbits.
