12. Puleeze!
The lump on the couch is snoozing away, despite my typing. Besides, I didn't even start typing until about 30 minutes ago...So, what was keeping you up before that?

22. Since I've been out of work
My sleep schedule is fucked. The last two weeks, I've either only had the oldest kid or none at all, so there was no real reason to get out of bed. I was getting up at noon or later, after going to bed at 5 or 6. I have both kids back, no way I'm sleeping in tomorrow (oh shit, that's today!).

5. I'm still going
The therapist gave us book last week that we're both supposed to read. I read seven chapters tonight. The other half would like me to fill him in when I'm done. Therapist specifically said that wouldn't work because then he could say that I'm making up stuff.

Well, you know I'm a Pacific coaster! Hmmm...sounds a bit funny! lol

We're ONLY 8 hours different from you folks over there! Hope you'll have a lovely day...

BTW, I'm curious: how far away (distance, or time) are you from London?

31. Good morning, CaliforniaPeggy.
The sun is shining brightly, and I'm sitting next to a wide open window which looks out onto a garden and a couple of fields - so there are some good omens for a lovely day.

I hope that once your new day begins it is a most beautiful one.

I'm fairly close to London. The train from the local station takes about 40 minutes, right into the centre (Marylebone - if you know London geography). I think that it's about 20-30 miles by road, but taking the train is usually far easier, more convenient &c. There are loads of commuters round here who travel into London on a daily basis - personally I'll stick with a gentle half hour walk to work.

26. Who's that? I have CNN on the TV, but expect little from them.
BTW, I see that we're twins, LOL! We both look just like the honorable John Conyers! I complied with CatWoman's request, but feel pretty weird, since I've had Jimmy Carter as my avatar for so long that I expected to see his face whenever I looked in the mirror, LOL! But John Conyers deserves whatever we can give him, IMHO.:D

27. From the 80s
Most of my music on my mp3 player is sixties stuff...Somehow 80s has invaded.

There was an official request? I changed mine after watching the meeting in the basement and then seeing him hand the petitions through bars to a WH aide with clenched fists.

34. I had actually thought of changing, especially after I read his actual
post on DU, but I was so attached to Mr. Carter. But CatWoman did ask, and got a hundred complies, and I like her and see her point, so I changed. And I also was glued to the DSM meeting in the basement, watched it twice, and hung on every word. His actions are heroic, so this is the least I could do, besides signing his petition and replying to his post on DU.:-)

Are you into '60s stuff? I'm into '70s. Fleetwood Mac being among my favorites.:D

36. The first time I watched it...
I sat in my computer chair until 4 AM mainly listening because the feed on my dial up was so shitty. When they showed it on CSpan 2, I taped it. Now I can watch it over and over! My husband is certain that I have gone over the edge. I'll just sit and watch my tape of "Thank God I have a Senator!" (Jan. 6), now I have this one to do the same with.

I listen to a wide range of music.

38. And, yes, CatWoman made a specific request.
I just looked, and there are 170 replies! Every one of us with Conyers avatars, LOL! I asked her how we were now going to tell each other apart, but I sure do see her point. We have been waiting for someone to step forward, and he was willing, an historic act. And I was honored that he posted on DU. My friend sponsored him, so he now has a star, so can post polls or use the search function, if he's so inclined, LOL!:D

And I like a range of music, as well, but most from the '70s, like Fleetwood Mac, Simon & Garfunkel and James Taylor.
