From Smoking Gun, Tom Cruise's non-disclosure agreement.
Eight pages. I've posted the first page, If you want to see the rest, they're at the link below:

Tom Cruise, Fine Fellow
Just replace "Nicole" with "Katie" in classic document

JUNE 17--Now that Tom Cruise has finally popped the question to Katie Holmes, his paramour of six weeks, it can't be long before his lawyers pull out the actor's ironclad confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements and update the amusing documents. One of those nifty "find and replace" commands will do the trick so Nicole Kidman's name can be replaced with that of the 42-year-old Cruise's new 26-year-old squeeze. The Cruise confidentiality agreements, copies of which you'll find below, surfaced in litigation involving a former maid who claimed she was wrongly terminated by the Scientology-lovin' Hollywood star. The documents's highlight, as far as TSG is concerned, is the detailed schedule of staggering fines to be levied if an employee breached the agreement by providing information to a newspaper, magazine, or television program. By our calculations, if a household worker dropped a dime to People Magazine, for instance, they would be liable to Cruise for about $70 million (that's $20 for each of the weekly's 3.5 million copies). On the bright side, if the improper disclosure was deemed to have been unintentional on the employee's part, the fine would be halved. Phew! $35 million is much more manageable for a gardener. 1. this guys scares me, he is too controlling, he has found the perfect
young thing to control. I am glad Mimi and Nicole are free of his obsessive controlling stuff. The Scientology stuff is the root of the scariness I believe.

2. That's not all...he hired a Scientologist to be...
...her round-the-clock "minder."

Tom Cruise, 42, proposed to much-gushed-about girlfriend Katie Holmes, 26, Friday morning atop the Eiffel Tower, citing the city's romantic reputation as the perfect backdrop.

According to The Associated Press, no wedding date has been set. "We haven't discussed that -- one step at a time," Cruise said. Cruise manned the mike at the early morning press conference, frequently exchanging giddy glances with the actress, who was silent. "Mum" is also the word when it comes to the Scientology "minder" Cruise has hired for the fledgling follower. According to the Sun, Cruise is paying Jessica Rodriguez to follow the cherubic beauty everywhere and "keep Katie on the path" as she converts to the controversial religion.

Cruise and Holmes went public with their relationship in April and have been accused of using it to promote their new movies. The seriously smitten Cruise stars in "War of the Worlds," which opens June 29. Holmes plays Bruce Wayne's love interest in "Batman Begins," now showing.

3. Where is her family? Why aren't they protecting her?
Do they want part of Cruise's money at the expense of their daughter's health?

5. The other story, which I posted yesterday: Katie was his FIFTH choice
FOUR other YOUNGER actresses said NO THANKS. ONE, Scarlett Johanssen, dropped out of MI 3 inder the pretense of "scheduling conflicts," but the truth is that Cruise gave her the full court press re: Scientology recruitment.

He's a frigging NUTCASE.

http://www.jossip.com/gossip/tom-cruise/asked-answered-katie-holmes-was-tom-cruises-5th-choice-20050617.php

Today Page Six asked (the very recycled "blind" item):

WHICH top leading man interviewed three different starlets for the job of girlfriend/future wife before picking his new beloved? "Mark my words: They'll have a baby," said our source. "Maybe he or she will be conceived in a petri dish, but they'll procreate"

And Radar had the answer right away (or was it like Jeopardy, and they had it before the question was asked?):

Katie Holmes may have fallen for it, but Tom Cruise’s sci-fi seduction technique scared the bejeezus out of Scarlett Johansson, a source close to the actress says. Weeks before he began wooing his brainwashed bride-to-be, Cruise made repeated phone calls to the 19-year-old starlet—who was then set to co-star with him in Mission Impossible III—imploring her to meet him at the Scientology Celebrity Center in L.A.

In the aftermath, Scarlett bailed on M:I3 due to "scheduling conflicts." We don't blame her. But poor Katie Holmes, who was picked fifth after Jessica Alba (24), Kate Bosworth (22) and Lindsay Lohan (18). That's gotta cramp a girl's sense of self-worth. And you know those Scientologist folks made Katie sign her life away on paper .. so we're just waiting for her contract to leak and spill the details of her agreement.

8. Ever since his Oprah appearance, he has creeped me out.
I always thought he was Hollywood's Mr. Nice Guy. He "met" with Katie in April and now they are engaged. A little too weird for me. Katie won't be left alone from now on. Her "minder" will keep her under their control. How sad.

4. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot more famous people
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 05:03 PM by Droopy
did this sort of thing. I wouldn't want to work for Cruise, though, unless he were paying me about $100,000 a year.

9. What a joke. Some lawyer ripped him off. This is totally unenforcable!
It is at best a scare tactic. I can't stand Tom Cruise. It is nice he votes Dem, but he can't act his way out of a bag. He is only good at playing "cocky" He is a jerk with a limited range.
