POSTED: 6:38 am PDT June 16, 2005

BANGKOK, Thailand -- A young Thai man with a history of moodiness has killed himself by gluing his mouth and nose shut with super glue.

Bangkok police said the young man's body was found Thursday morning in his bedroom, apparently after suffocating overnight. They said a small amount of cash and a note saying, "Here is all that I have, take what you please" were also found on the bed.

7. Yeah, that's the compassionate response!
(mine wasn't either, but people will kill themselves so you'd think they'd prefer a painless way out. :dunce: )

8. Why say that? He wanted to die and found a way.
A stupid and painful way, but it succeeded. Now had it failed, THEN I might use that term. :D

6. It'd be better to put a plastic bag over one's head, tape it closed, and
use a sleeping pill. Not nearly as painful as asphyxiation via forcing shut all oxygen airways. Not painful at all.

Add in some helium from a balloon and you'll go more quickly.

Not that I know anything about this, mind you...

11. .
O8)

Always have a contingency plan.

While my situation is fair right now, things could get worse if I don't get employment soon (in 2 months). I am not yet worried and, let's face it, the national economy could collapse at any time anyway.

Unless there's another possibility, one that will allow me to live without my way of life.

Well I hope you find employment PRONTO then. I think the economy has another couple of years. Mexico's trade deficit got to 10% before their economy collapsed and I think (don't know for sure) that we are at 8%, so I think we have a few more good years before were digging through garbage heaps looking for something to eat. All I need is 2 years with one, and I'll be fully free and clear.

I can do it; I've been working on my website portfolio (to be released Monday) and my resume...

I'm amazed the US is only at 8%, all things considered.

14. I think unemployment is at 8% because they stop counting people
when their unemployement runs out. I personally know several people who were on unemployment and couldn't find a job and once the alloted time they give you to find a job runs out, you don't get anymore $ and they knock you out of the unemployed statistics. I think the number is probably much higher than 8%
