I'm getting locked up for 3 days
Starting at noon today, I'll be locked in a lead lined room for the next 72 hours, no visitors, not even my wife.

Who can guess what's going on?
Actually some of you may have already went through this.

17. Yep
Have already had 2 operations on the thyroid, first the left lobe was removed then the right. Pathologist report came back positive for Papillary Cancer. The radiations to kill out remainders of the thyroid, then it's thyroid meds the rest of my life. It's a very common procedure, and has one of the best success rates. I've got friends who had this done over 25 years ago. The only pain is( other than the surgery's) having to take thyroid meds every morning for life.

20. Good luck to you, TX-RAT!
My wife has hypothyroidism, so she takes Synthroid every day. No biggie, and certainly better than the alternative!

Keeping me in one room for 72 hours, is gonna be tough on everybody.

Plus it couldn't be any worse than my addiction to Banna/Strawberry Jolly Ranchers.

29. Can't take anything with me, i want to keep.
What ever i take into the room, will either be destroyed, or held for 80 days until it's safe to return. Clothes books, every thing.

Seems like crazy is my only option.

35. My cat had that done.
I had to leave her at the vet hospital for a week. But afterwards, she was fine, just had to take thyroid meds for the rest of her life. I enjoyed telling everyone about Radioactive Super Kitty. :)

36. I've heard of that.
Had no idea how common that was in cats, until i started researching thyroid problems on the net.

Sure hope my wife doesn't make me take that hairball medicine, that stuffs nasty.

Hope i at least get X-Ray vision.
