Thanks for the chance to be uppity with some down home folks who just want to be thought polite and not talk politics. Ha! Keep going back there, seems like you were holding your own against some particularly different than you sorts.

My own "rude" story has nothing to do with politics but I'll share anyways, since this is the lounge. Picking over the bin of strawberries with my 7 yr old child, looking for non-moldy strawberries since this store had a habit of stocking old fruit. There was this old lady (relativly old, probably 80), skinny, kept glaring at my child. Finally she says "does he HAVE to touch all the strawberries?" Yeah, getting them all germy or something. I said "I've tried beating him and I just can't get him to stop." She was immediately contrite, almost fake apologetic "oh, That's not what I meant". right. Anyway, it felt good to be blunt back to her.

Hey, use the word blunt, not rude. It's late, I need to go to bed. You did good over there.
